After I walked away from the day-to-day demands of Jazzberry's Upown, I took the time to write down a few of my all-time favorite recipes for the Jazzberry’s Cookbook. I also introduced people to the rich variety of ethnic grocery stores where even the most exotic ingredients can be found.

After signing several thousand books, catering seemed to be the next logical stop. When people heard that I was offering full-service catering, Plunkett’s Fabulous Foods took off from its brand new 2100-square-foot catering studio at the Genesee Valley Regional Market.

Almost overnight, we were cooking for weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, business lunches, board meetings, receptions and more. If you planning an special event or corporate function, feel free to give us a call, we can give you lots of ideas for unique menus and venues.

After just 15 years in our latest venture, we are now:

• One of just eight approved caterers for the University of Rochester and Strong Memorial Hospital.
• Approved caterer for the Susan B. Anthony House, AAUW, Ellwanger Estate and too many other local venues to list.

Meet Our Team
We are very pleased to introduce you to our Catering Manager, Lisa Wagner. Lisa has over 30 years experience managing catering services for The Diplomat Party House, Sarkis Catering, Rochester Prep Schools and the after school program for YMCA Boys and Girls Club. Some days she was in charge of producing over 200 meals. In these positions, she was in charge of managing over 80 food prep and service employees. She is also certified to design nutritionally balanced meals for New York State schools. She joined Plunkett’s over 20 years ago.

Each member of our highly acclaimed Service Team has over 20 years experience in the catering business. We are so proud of all they do to give our customers exactly what and when they want their meals. They are truly artists in their display of our food.

Unlike other caterers who stop at just offering you food, Plunkett's can take care of all the arrangements for your  party, including party themes, room decor, tents, flowers, linens and china, bartenders, balloons, music booking, venue selection and much, much more. Now that’s full service caterers!
